About
I have a great respect for you, Werner, you work out of pure passion.
When I was in school I have seen many artefacts that I remembered now seeing your work. In Romania, my homeland, we have many archeological sites where one can still find many remains of old pottery. There are, I am sure, many things you would like to see there if you ever think of making a trip to the East. Romania is not rich in money, but rich in culture and history.
i wish you from the heart to be blessed in your work, both with the beauty that you create and with the means to thrive in your work.
Thank you! (but hm – I’m André, Werner ist the guy who brougth me to this work;-)
Long ago I was hiking in the romanian mountains (it was the Retezat) and have many good memorys on that. Maybe someday I come again to your homeland.
Please forgive me, I got it wrong because the only name mentioned was Werner’s.
Andre, I am really glad thet you saw the Retezat mountains, I hope you got to see some archeology as well. If not there’s lots to see, in several areas of the country.
Oh sorry, I can’t forgive you. Because I have no complaint against you – its only a little misunderstanding.
I was a physics Student than and not so much interested in archeologie as today. But in this three weeks in the Retezat I learned much about me and the life. And I was dancing romanian folkdances in a taverna in Drobeda 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂 that’s great brother!!! Drobeta is nice. You should see my city, Sibiu. An old medieval city with many museums, churches, old towers and gates and walls…. Hermannstadt is the German name. 🙂
Oh and from physics to pottery is a great distance… this is how our passion finds us. I have studied to become librarian but now I work in health and social care. Life is so impredictable… 🙂
That is a good thing, a thing of God, that our live is not predictable.
It’s time for me to sleep. Thank you Ela and good night!
Thank you Andre, good night!
And yes, thank God for everything, for this lovely chat and meeting you tonight, it’s a privilege for me.
Following this blog is a challange I am so happy to accept. Language barriers are nothing to a mind determined to overcome.
Happy new year, my friend!
